TEXTURED ESSENCE

Die Serie Textured Essence ist eine radikale Rückkehr zum Ursprung des Malprozesses, der direkten Berührung. Anstelle des Pinsels werden die Hände zu Werkzeugen, wodurch jede Farbschicht gefühlt und in die Leinwand eingearbeitet wird. The series Textured Essence is a radical return to the origin of the painting process, direct touch. Instead of brushes, hands become tools, allowing every layer of color to be felt and worked into the canvas. These topographical landscapes invite the viewer to transcend the boundaries of two dimensional space. Every elevation tells of the energy in the moment of contact between the artist and her work. It is a haptic journey and an invitation to understand and touch art in the truest sense of the word.
